We make this premium handcrafted Blueberry Brandy in really small batches (75 gallon) following a thousand year old South European process ( ракия, AKA rakia distillation) that brings out the distinctive fruit flavor.
Truly unique brandy for the real connoisseur. Small batch - only 600 bottles have been made in 2016.
Blueberry Brandy - we handpick and crush the best ripe blueberry fruits and turn them into juice. We then add a classic French strain of yeast that ferments the wine slowly, so no volatile alcohols are produces and the natural aroma and flavors of the blueberries are preserved. It takes about 45 days for the fermentation to complete, after which the fragrant wine is distilled through a four plate copper column still that together with the white oak give this mild brandy its unique taste.
